Leadership Portfolio
Asked what motivates them to lead, authentic leaders consistently say they find their motivation through understanding their own stories. Their stories enable them to know who they are and to stay focused on their values. Students already have valuable leadership experiences which prepare and direct them to many other leadership opportunities. Students examine their leadership life stories answering how these experiences represent them, teach them, and prepare them.
Below are general prompts students respond to generate their leadership portfolio entries.
Below are samples of student leadership portfolios: Spori Business Conference |
The purpose of the Spori Business Conference is for authors to present researched and published findings to inform and to meet a specific audience’s needs. The conference provides opportunities to formally and informally discuss findings and recommendations with a direct audience.
Professional Portfolio
Students submit a professional portfolio by gathering, revising, and presenting their best writing and work as a Business Management major at BYU-Idaho. This portfolio also becomes a marketing tool in entering careers and graduate school.
