To meet the need of integrating speech skills and writing skills into Southwestern's Oregon Coast Culinary Institute curriculum, I developed this course to embed business and technical communication skills with oral presentation skills. After receiving approval through Instructional Council, I created the framework for the course while Alexia Valdes became its instructor.
