WR 123 College Writing III allows students to plan, research, and write papers based on an argumentative or analytical thesis from collected information. This necessitates critical reading, persuasive writing and using conventions to write and document a research paper. Upon completion of this course, the learner will:

Job Application Materials. Students will apply for job position or internship by submitting a cover letter and resume.
Formal Researched Report. Students will submit one formal researched report using accurate APA or MLA documentation—10 pages. Professional Portfolio. Students will submit a professional portfolio by gathering, revising, and presenting their best writing and works as a student at SWOCC. It also becomes a marketing tool in entering careers and completing degrees. Tioga Professional Conference. Students will present ONE aspect of their researched articles in a formal in-class conference setting (100 points). Leadership Portfolio. Students will write a weekly leadership journal response. |
